Childhood Trauma Series - Return to Oz (1985)

What's up Dream Warriors! We are wrapping up our Childhood Trauma series this week with one neither of us have ever seen but it was recommended to us for this series and wow, Return to Oz did not dissapoint; both in the creepy factor but also in being a solid ass movie! If The Wizard of Oz made you feel warm and cuddly, this one will rip that innocence away from you and replace it with depression, fear and wishing you were still in Kansas.

This movie didn't shy away from dealing with some pretty heavy subjects such as mental health, the loss of childhood, medical practices and just overall childhood fear. If you have not watched this, we definitely recommend checking it out at least once in your life.

Come back in a couple of weeks for our first October episode; we'll each be picking a movie from the other's Hooptober list and we're kicking it off with The Blair Witch Project!
